Zarqa University Participates in the Twenty-sixth Arab Pharmaceutical Industries Forum

Under the title "The Future of Biosubstitutes Industry in Arab Countries", Zarqa University's Faculty of Pharmacy represented by the Pharmaceutical Research Center participated in the 26th Arab Pharmaceutical Industries Forum. The Forum was inaugurated by the Prime Minister's representatives, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari and Bishr Al-Khasawneh were the Ministers of Health and Health.

 

The Forum continues for three days with Arab and international participation. it was attended by Representatives of Arab and foreign health authorities and concerned persons with the pharmaceutical industry in Arab countries, and lecturers from the United States of America, Europe, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, the Sultanate of Oman and Yemen, as well as companies specialized in the manufacture of medicines, equipment, supplies and laboratory devices for the pharmaceutical industries. .

During the forum, the Jordanian Center for International Exhibitions in Makkah Mall will be hosting the fifth session of the Arab Pharma Exposition (ARAB Pharma EXPO).

Prof. Nidal Al Ramahi, the University's President, said that the university places a high value on relationships with local community institutions and industrial and commercial companies, as they are tributaries of academics and future graduates, as well as supporters of improvements.

The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahlam Al-Kilani, emphasized the importance of participating in the Arab Pharmaceutical Industries Forum to present the experience of Zarqa University in establishing the Pharmaceutical Research Center, which is the first center of its kind in the Kingdom and the Arab region because of its modern equipment that contributes to the preparation of results and studies with high accuracy.

She pointed out that the center has become accredited by the Saudi Food and Drug Administration to conduct non-clinical experiments for pharmaceutical products, as the first center in the Kingdom and the Arab region to obtain this accreditation, after fulfilling the global requirements for conducting such experiments for pharmaceutical products according to the examination and evaluation undertaken by the General Authority for Food and Drug to ensure its safety.
